Rick Doremus
President & Co-Owner / Licensed General Contractor
Rick grew up in the Northeast, where he developed an early appreciation for quality craftsmanship. His construction career began framing custom homes in the suburbs of Denver, providing him with hands-on experience in residential building from the ground up. He later returned to the East Coast, working for a custom home builder and renovation company on Long Island. There, he was involved in all major phases of home construction, including foundations, framing, roofing, siding, and door and window installation.
Rick later relocated to Boston to attend college, earning both a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University. After several years working in management, he moved to Florida in the early 1990s, where he continued to build his career in construction and construction management.
Since 2007, Rick has been a Florida State Certified General Contractor and brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. In this capacity, he has developed extensive knowledge of the continually evolving Florida Building Code and associated permitting processes, which are among the most stringent in the country.
Brian Letulle
Vice-President & Co-Owner / Construction Supervisor
Brian Letulle’s path into design and construction didn’t begin with blueprints or boardrooms—it started in Savannah, Georgia, where he first learned how buildings tell stories. Working on historic restoration projects in downtown Savannah, he spent his early career uncovering the craftsmanship hidden inside century-old structures. Those years taught him to respect materials, understand how things are made, and appreciate the balance between preservation and innovation. They also introduced him to the idea that construction is, at its core, a form of storytelling—one built through detail, discipline, and design.
As his career evolved, Brian explored every corner of the visual and built environment. He worked within art studios, retail design-build groups, and manufacturing shops, gaining hands-on experience with an unusually wide range of materials: polyester, polyurethane, metal, glass, mosaics, and custom-finished surfaces. This exposure didn’t just expand his technical abilities—it sharpened his artistic eye and cemented a lifelong creative mindset. Design challenges became opportunities, and Brian developed a reputation as the person who could take a sketch, idea, or unconventional concept and turn it into something real.
When he transitioned fully into construction and project management, those early creative roots became his differentiator. Brian quickly became the “go-to” liaison between designers and field crews, able to translate vision into buildable detail. Over the years, he helped launch and scale construction companies, implemented systems that drove growth, and delivered projects ranging from custom homes and commercial ground-up builds to hundreds of kitchen and bath renovations.
Today, as Vice President and co-owner of Innovative Design Build Inc., Brian blends technical precision with a designer’s sensibility. His work focuses on high-end residential and light commercial projects, where clients depend on his ability to lead complex builds, solve problems intuitively, and approach every project with integrity and craftsmanship. He continues to push himself through ongoing study of construction science and design drawing from a wide array of industry resources to stay a head of modern building practices.
From historic renovations in Savannah to contemporary homes across South Florida, Brian’s career has been defined by curiosity, creativity, and a commitment to exceptional work. He brings deep knowledge of materials, an artist’s perspective, and a builder’s discipline—helping clients create spaces that are thoughtful, functional, and beautiful from the first concept to the final detail.
Tiffany Figueroa
Interior Designer
Hi, I’m Tiffany. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2006 and since then, design has been my profession and creative anchor. I am the person who partners with you from the onboarding process through project completion, serving as construction liaison through implementation.
With years of hands on experience, I work across residential and commercial design, collaborating closely with our engineers and construction team. My process blends the technical and the imaginative to ensure each project moves forward with clarity and intention. Whether you are looking for collaborative guidance or full-serving design, I am there through every phase guiding you.
Over the years I have mastered the many layers of interior design: thoughtful space planning, kitchen and bath design, material and finish curations, custom furniture design, and those final bespoke touches that bring a space to life.
One of my favorite parts of the process is walking into a space and immediately sensing it’s potencial - seeing what it could be - is what drives my creativity. Whether we elevate what you already have or imagine something entirely new, my goal is to create spaces that feel considered, balanced, and deeply connected to the people who live or work in them.
I believe good design should feel inviting, not intimidating. Clients often tell me they appreciate my meticulous attention to detail. The clarity I bring to what can be an overwhelming process. I take the time to understand how you live, what matters to you and the nuances that make your space uniquely yours. I often become part designer, part confidante, learning the rhythms of your life so I can craft a space that supports it and feels deeply personal.
I often tell my clients “If you don’t love it, we can do better”. It’s not just a saying, it’s my guiding principle. Because at the end of every project, what matters most to me is that you feel connected to your space, that it reflects you, and you genuinely love every detail for years to come.
Nick Sakers
Project Manager
Nick brings a combination of field experience, technical skill, and systems-driven thinking to Innovative Design Build. His career began in high-pressure environments — working as a 24/7 structural drying and flood-response crew leader — where he learned to manage complex situations, follow strict standard operating procedures, and keeps teams functioning safely and efficiently under extreme conditions.
He later advanced into mold remediation leadership, performing residential assessments, drafting remediation plans, designing containment strategies, and coordinating crews to meet insurance and compliance standards. Those years built his foundation in problem-solving, communication, and adapting to constantly shifting variables in the field.
Over time, Nick expanded into multi-trade work as a handyman and independent contractor, gaining hands-on exposure to the construction process from foundation to finish. This experience gives him an intuitive understanding of how projects function on the ground — not just on paper.
Driven by a passion for organization, technology, and clear systems, Nick transitioned into project management, where he now excels at tracking complex details, coordinating people, leveraging modern tools, and turning disorder into structure. He is known for his ability to simplify complicated information, maintain team morale, and keep projects moving forward with accountability and consistency.
At Innovative Design Build, Nick blends his field background with a detail-oriented, tech-enabled management approach — ensuring that every project progresses smoothly, transparently, and with the high standard of quality our clients expect.
